It'd taken a bit, but sometime after Tuesday, Astrid would be getting a thick envelope carefully decorated in palm leaves to her house.
Sorry it took me so long to write back. The island's been doing some weird stuff. Last week there were dinosaurs everywhere, and then today the island was flooded. Mostly. It's Fandom, so it's a weird kind of flooding. The important thing is everything in my warehouse is mostly okay, but I have to repaint the floor, probably. Also over the weekend there was some reunion, and I guess I was old for it? I don't remember much, but Nina has pictures. Anyway, I tried to give you a good visual representation of what we're dealing with here.
I'd love to see the museums out there! I've looked them up a little but I don't know how different they are now. How's school? It's got to be more normal than this, right? (We're doing the summer thing again on Wednesdays. No prize this time, though. GOOD.)
Hope to hear from you soon! I'll probably write again soon anyway if things keep up the way they are. There's too much weird to let you miss out.
Sabine
And sure enough, in the envelope were quite a few postcard-sized drawings, both basic sketches and full color, of what the island had been doing. It was mostly dinosaurs, including a rainbow-spotted Stance dinosaur, but there was also a new one of a gondola in the streets of the town. It's been a weird couple weeks.
